For a few days, my guineas haven't eaten or drank much. So I looked on the Internet and saw that it could be water bottle mould. So I sterilised it with Milton, and the bottle was back to normal... Only a few hours later, I realised that the bottle wasn't working... I have no idea what to do!
It's fine when I hold it, but the Minuit my Guineas try n drink out of it... It drys up n stops working!
I have absolutely NO idea what to do now, as they are thirsty and can't drink out of a bowl. Also, they do have another water bottle, but it's filthy at the moment, and I need to clean it which I have had NO time to do due to exam stresses and studying and coursework etc.
Please help me! Has the ball gone rusty? Can I fix it if it has? Can I teach my two to drink from a bowl?
Thank you in advance if you have kindly left a suggestion or comment x

I'm sorry if I seem impatient but I'm really worried about them. If they get dehydrated they will die, I'm currently squeezing the bottle to let them drink!

I think you have to have the bottle full and then shake it to start it dripping. If this doesnt work give them a tiny bowl with water in and wash some veggies and leave wet they can get moisture from these.

dont panic, my girls upstairs hardly drink any water at all,I hear them sometime but they are not dehydrated. Bertie on the other hand plays with his bottle and I have to refill it twice a day!

Thank you, I forgot to mention, I can't really at the moment. My dads away on a business trip and my mum works 9-7 hours. I don't live near a petshop either. I guess I'll try the veggie idea till then!

You can get a water bottle in any large supermarket, most of which are open 24 hours these days.

Alternatively, just clean the other one, it won't take that long.

Also if you offer them a dish, they will drink from it
Darwinian theory and all that.
