Hello, the mouth peice to one of their water bottles looks black, or tarnished. My grandmother thinks it's just marks from them biting it, but it doesn't look like that to me. It doesn't look like mold either, but I'm definitely no expert.

If you're concerned then get a new water bottle in case it's not just them biting it.

Have you tried cleaning it?
 
I soak my piggies bottles in a solution of Milton every 2 weeks. Today for the first time one of them was a bit green inside so I had to clean that off. I use cotton buds to clean out the spout.
 
I'd get a new one to be honest
 
I have never seen this happen before. But as previously mentioned, change it if in doubt. I haven’t seen your kind of bottle before, what type is it? Just curious:)

Not really sure I got it from the local pet store
