Bit of a random question, but does anyone know where you can get the wire to hold a water bottle onto a hutch and perspex?
I'm about to have my brothers shed, and the windows are smashed thanks to his friends!

The wires usually come with the drinking bottles when you buy them. You can get the bottles for about £1 in pets at home or a bit more if you want a red, blue or yellow one.:)

I was just about to suggest the water bottle springs or you could use cable ties. I usually throw the bottle wire away as its usual a pain in the bum to get on the cage.

You can get perspex from B & Q or similar places, as for the wire maybe from a garden centre for something similar. Is this to fix the window or for your water bottles?

The perspex is just to fix the shed's windows so it doesn't get chilly for the piggies!
And the wire is for the indoor cages, because the wire you get with the bottle is never long enough to reach! So when my piggies are ill I have to keep it on with tape! :))

Ive got a spare wire if you want it...I can put it in the post... my husband rigged up a bottle holder onto my cage using tool clips from a diy shop & these are much sturdier

My top tip for bottle wires is to make your own out of net curtain wire (sell it in the £ shop). You cut it to the required lenghth & screw a small hook into either end - all my bottles are fixed to hutches this way :(|)

Great idea - I inherited the springy wires with my hutches and think they're great, and now I know where to get more or how to make some!

I've been using hairbands!

perspex you can get from B&Q, i saw it on there on sunday.

why dont you just use garden wire for the bottle holder?

I use large resueable cable ties from B&Q for holding water bottles i have some wire but changing as they break or annoy me too much!:))

I ordered some spring ones from thistle cavies and they are great, a bit tough to fix on but once they are on its fine and they look smart too! :)
