I'm looking for a GREAT WATER BOTTLE! I have gone threw 4 bottles so far and I'm getting annoyed with them always dripping and making my babies bedding wet. Does anybody have suggestions?

The glass ones in pets@home are good. I have one thats 6 years old. Doesnt leak. Has double ball bearing👍 i think they a £9

Living world make them. And a few other companys. But they are exactly the same. Probably just a different label

I have 8 "classic" bottles 4 on the hutch and 4 for runs in the summer (as this saves me from swapping them around) and they don't leak as they have a double ball bearing in the spout. I have used "classic" bottles for years for various different pets and never had a problem.

Are you referring to the plastic bottles with the red plastic screw top?

We have those "classic" water bottles too and the only one that ever leaked was the one Theo deliberately vandalised in the hot weather to make a shower to keep his little black ears cool!

Those are the ones I have. Cheap to buy and the best I've ever bought. I've been using them since I was a kid for all sorts of rodents which will be for about 20/25 years and never had a problem. None have ever leaked that I have had. Although I clean them I do disposed of them after a pets passing and get a new 1 so I've owned a few in those years

The best bottles I have found so far have been the ones in my thread here. Totally silent too!
By Far The Best Water Bottles I Have Ever Bought In My Life.

However, I use them primarily for rats. Rats had no issues with working out how to get the water out, not sure how it may go with a guinea pig.

Paws I actually tries a bottle like you are suggesting and my gunieapigs disnt know how to drink out of it.

I’m having this problem as well, we have the class plastic bottles (colourless bottle, red plastic bottom), despite being upright, fully filled and a quick squeeze upon installing they continually leak.

I popped one on the hutch yesterday, but it was cold so the piggies didn’t go out, when I fetched it in a couple of hours later it was half empty.

We have eventually settled for the 'Sippy 600ml' bottles which have a plunger mechanism. However, one or two of our pigs tend to spit back up the spout and a tiny piece of food will lodge in the spout and cause it to stay open resulting in a wet floor. The bottles with ball bearings in the spouts can easily get damage by dropping them. It kinks the tube end ruining the ball bearing seal. The ball bearing ones need the spout cleaning out regularly with a small bottle brush or cotton buds. The only drawback with the 'Sippy' bottle is that it won't take any rough handling and can break at the spout connection.

I switched to Ferplast 'Sippy' bottles.. no drips/leaks, though I imagine the spouts could be quite vulnerable if bashed around too much. We have a large dog who tears around like a mad thing and has bumped them a couple of times though with no issues..

I tried a few and have found the Living World glass one to be the best! Although doesn’t seem to work for everyone. Mine rarely drops. I think the trick is to fill it up as full as you can.

The spouts are nice and long for easier access

I use this one.

I got it from jollys for about £10.

It never leaks. But if your securing it to the cage. Abit will drip out
