guinea pigs really like water chestnut stems. like a lot, they seem to like them as they are similar to corn husks in texture.
i tried them on it last year, and this year the crop is big enough to give it to them again.
just so that people know a new treat to get them.
it grows in the water and makes 'nuts' under the mud. dont feed them the nuts.
the green bit above the water is what they want.
