Hank loves water cress but he likes it best when I can harvest a small amount from the soggy tub outside. I'm hoping to dig a pond to grow it in so the lonely little cherub can enjoy his fix more than once a year as I find the supermarket bags rot too easily
I've never been brave enough to give it to any of mine. I read somewhere that the wild growing stuff is prone to liver worm or eggs or something I think it was.
I Have tried them with a small very, very washed piece from the supermarket for human consumption. But panicked about it so much afterwards I dont bother now. Silly really I know- but that's me!
Dont even eat it myself- too hot for my tastebuds :-S
Xx
