Rescued my 2 lads 9 days ago.
They are in an indoor cage which is hard to attach a water bottle to so they have a water bowl. Some days it is half way down and others they don't seem to drink any.
I know they are supposed to have about 100ml a day but they don't seem to be taking it in.

What sort of cage do you have?
Some piggies drink more than others, some don't drink hardly at all! I wouldn't worry, just make sure that their veggies are wet when they get them so they get water that way :)

Not all piggies drink; they have to learn it. Water intake varies quite a lot between individual piggies and also from day to day. With regular fresh veg, they don't dehydrate.

I find that Sippy water bottles are very good for traditional cages - you still want ot have a drip bowl underneath, though - some pigges are very messy drinkers. The bottles can be fixed from the outside of the cage and can be easily serviced. They are now fairly widely available over the internet and also in pet shops. https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=s...ottle&rls=org.mozilla:en-GB:official&tbm=shop

Thanks guys. I managed to find a different shaped bottle that can attach to the inside of the cage. I've seen Darwin using it just after putting it in. They were 6 months when I got them last week so I'm assuming they've had bottles rather than a bowl.

In the past I have stuck Velcro on to a bottle and the other bit of Velcro on the inside of a run i was using that would not hold a bottle on at a sensible angle . It held on fine ! Might be worth a try:)
