My piggies don't seem to be drinking anything at all! They have a water bottle and I've also given them a bowl. I've tried showing them how to use the water bottle and they explore it but definitely never drink from it. Should I be worried?

Also one of my piggies loves eating toilet roll (I give the cardboard middles to them but sometimes it has a sheet left on it). I'm assuming this is ok?

My boys didnt drink water for about the first three years of their lives, well if they did i never saw and the bottles never changed! I always made sure they had cucumber at each meal. Eventually they started drinking, one to the extrmeme, but thats another story!

Re the toilet roll, i dont know about that, but judging by how much nespaper most pigs eat i cant see it being a problem lol

Piggies get a lot of their water from their veg so you might not see them drink in often.

I wouldn't let them eat the toilet roll paper but that's just me. I don't know how well they would be able to digest it.

When I used bowls for my pigs, I noticed that they drank more than when I switched them to bottles. Aimzer is right though, they could be getting a lot of water from their veg. I put the toilet paper rolls into my piggies cages as well and they eat them too, it's never caused any problems, I don't know about the sheet left on the roll though as that's a different type of paper.

they may be getting all they need from their veg. try offering two bottles at different heights and see if this makes a difference.

do you mean the toilet roll tube has some actually tissue left on it, or one of those rolls that seem to have an extra layer of cardboard? if it's the tissue then definitely don't let them eat that. it would be difficult to digest for them and could cause issues. i also wouldn't let them eat too much of the actual cardboard either. they love to because it's a type of fibre! but too much could also cause issues aswell. the odd nibble is fine though.
