I'm a little bit worried about the intake of water by my oldest pig. I have a boy alone in a cage and 2 girls separately next door they go through most of a medium bottle between them But my older pig goes through less then 1/4 should he be drinking more or is this normal? It's only become an issue now as he wasn't always alone we've only just lost his brother but i just thought I'd make sure he's drinking enough

Some piggies drink more or less than others. Some rely mainly on their veg whereas others enjoy playing with the bottle and are messy drinkers- wasting more. It is important to notice any change in behaviour I'd more or less water consumed.
What size is the bottle (volume wise). When did you notice a change? Have you been giving more wet veg? Is there any other change in him e.g. Is he still doing wees and poops?

I've only noticed it recently as his brother just passed so before then both of them had been drinking he's still acting exactly the same and I don't know if there is anything to worry about I just wasn't sure if he was drinking enough he gets mainly tomatoes and cabbage
