How much water should my pigs drink?

I've only ever seen then drink a few times & their water bottles never look like there is much out of them. I tried bowls of water but they keep tipping them over.

Some piggies drink loads, others barely at all. Obviously, it is better for them to drink a reasonable amount. I wash all their veg etc and leave it quite wet so they get more that way.
As an example, one of my pairs go through 2 of the large bunny bottles in 24 hours and another pair take a few sips out of their smaller size bottle. I still change it every day though

mine hardly drink none bottle always full but change it every day but they love cucumber and thats full of water and melon

It depends on personal taste and how much fresh veg and grass they have had - they get a lot of water that way. They drink the more the drier their regular food is. A piggie just on pellets and hay can get severly dehydrated if it hasn't access to water.

Some guinea pigs refuse to drink at all; with those it is important to give plenty of fresh food.

I find the more hay they eat the more they drink. Mine are big hay eaters and they drink loads.

I would say mine eat quite a lot of hay a good couple of handfulls each ever day plus loads of veggies daily but they really hardly drink anything

well my lilly drinks loads of water and so her daughter poppy
there go though 1 guinea pig size bottle a day

my 4 boys drink water too
and so my max he loves his water

but my other 4 piggies dont drink much really

Katie drinks from the bottle fairly often,wheras her sister Kim never drinks at all.They like things like melon,tomato,apple,pear and cucumber that obviously have a high water content,and i wash all their fruit and veg,and their grass picked from the garden,leaving it quite wet.

Pepsi & Marmaduke have a rabbit sized bottle & last week I only filled it up to where the level was every time I changed it.
After about 4 days it wasn't even 1/4 down :{

Mine vary a lot. They've had the current bottleful for ages, even though it's hot (though I guess they're getting moisture from the grass.) Other times, they'll go through the bottle in about 3 days, and will be waiting for me when I come back from refilling.
