Watermelon?

How do I give it to my lot? I mean it has seeds/pips in it. Are they all the way through?

I haven't as yet bought any cos I don't know how to serve it or if they would bother trying it ::)

But if it works out difficult then I wont get it :)
 
yeah the seeds are all the way through..i heard its not good for them, ive always fed mine honeydew its not as watery as watermelon
 
Was only gonna try an itsy teeny bit, but I know my lot - will stick their noses up anyway!

Seeds all the way through then?! How do people eat it? Sorry I have never tried it before!
 
ive had it you try n eat around them or spit the seeds out..its quite fiddly i only ever had i it the once..lol
 
I gave my guinea's watermelon in the summer time when it's really hot. Just the flesh of the melon and they adore it haha. Not to much because they could get (the way we call it hihi) a little splatter poo. But that's with all the fruits and vegetables that contain a lot of water O0

I just cut a piece and flip the pips out, bit messy but hey anything for my little man O0 :smitten:
I know some girls who thoroughly wash the rind and give them that to chew on as well, good for toofies ?
 
They tend to eat the bits they like, some like the fruit and mine all like the skin.
 
I LOOOVE watermelon! My favorite food ever!

You can pick the pips or spit them out....but i usually just get a massive slice on a hot, stick my head in it and eat it all, pips and all! A bit sticky but its heaven :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:
 
Might just get a slice from Morrisons then! I know they sellll slices, which is why I asked........ but hey I'll try it :)
 
Yeah for like 70p and its good stuff! Make sure you get a bigger slice, more for your money and less pips ;D
