My new piggy Penelope has sneezed a couple of times and has a watery eye. I have read lots of posts on this forum about watery eyes and it seems like it could be a number of things. We had normal Sawdust which wasn’t causing a problem and then we went to horse place to see if we could try something different and she recommended excel sawdust and straw bedding lemon scented with beapher granules underneath. I was a bit dubious about using these things for my piggies but I bought them anyway So I suspect it may be that that is causing the problem. Has anyone else used this bedding or granules?

Please change the bedding. Scented bedding can cause real problems.
Sawdust and straw is not suitable for guinea pigs anyway.
