Hi, I have noticed the last few days that just one of Robbie's eyes is a bit watery. I now have his hay in a hay rack and I was wondering whether he managed to poke himself in the eye or something. His eye looks totally fine, doesn't look like there is any damage from what I can see. What else could it be? He seems his normal self, eating plenty and drinking normally.

I would be grateful for any advice.

Many thanks.

Check his back teeth - tooth trouble can be a possible cause.

More likely to be an eye infection. Get some Optrex eye drops and apply as stated for a couple of day.

Thanks for that, I will try the Optrex first and see how it goes. If that is not successful then I will pop him along to the vets for them to have a look.
