Hey!

I'm new here, so be nice :P

My name is Hannah, and I live in Bristol. I have 2 beautiful piggies, Bryan and Heidi. These are my first pigs, so they're teaching me how to be the best mumma :)

Bryan first came to live with me as a foster, from an amazing rabbit rescue in Gloucester. 2 years old, came to the Gloucester rescue centre from a rescue centre in Wales that got shut down due to poor welfare conditions. Who knows where he came from before that poor boy =( Anyway, underweight, scardey pants piggie with bad skin, and generally a grumpy boy he came to live with me for some TLC with the intention of rehoming him. Little did I know then that I'd end up keeping him! When he was in better emotional and physical health we went back to the centre to find him a wife :)

Heidi was a tiny little baby (6 ish weeks the vet thought) that was brought in to the same Gloucester rescue centre, with a bunch of other babies all full of mites, rescued from a pet shop. Bonded perfectly, and fell in love. :<>

Bryan is a chocolate & White abysinian (Sp?) and Heidi is a self white with red eyes.

Hahah, just realised how long this "intro" is! Sorry, I can't half babble when it comes to the animals! (Have other furries too!)



Anyway, long story short, I'm Hannah from Bristol, 2 pigs Bryan & Heidi.

heylo welcome to the forum :) *waves* is bryan neutered? you didnt say if he was being piggie parents is great fun i have 6 all boars (3 pairs) theyre all nutty :)
 
haha, oh yes gizmo01, he is most definitely neutered! Far too many unwanted pigs around to be breeding! All my furries are rescues =)

Thanks for the welcomes :) Sophie, the forum is full of good advice from what I've seen. I was googling ideas for piggie toys (my pair literally own everything in pets at home!) and came accross the forum :)
 
Its true, they are! But their very picky with their toys, a paper bag and a screwed up piece of newspaper has gotten a better reaction to most of the expensive shop toys so far!
 
Oops, just realised theres two "introduce yourself" threads, and I don't think I've managed to put this in either of them! Sorrysorrysorry! (I'm not just new to this forum, I'm new to forum's all together!)
 
Welcome Hannah! your piggies are very cute, glad you're enjoying them. I'm new to guinea pigs too (had our girls two weeks) They are such wonderful pets x)
