This has been the longest journey for us.....I used to live in a house where the garden was next to a noisy busy road and when I tried to put the pigs out they were so terrified I had to admit defeat in the end. So this year we all moved to a new house with a quiet fully enclosed garden after waiting seven months for the sale to go through 🙄. We luckily fell upon a lovely new run with many thanks to @)LadyKelly , feed them grass indoors to get them used to it then waied for a day with the right weather. And today was that day! After 5 hours of hiding in their tunnel they finally emerged out onto the grass! We have been waiting for this for so long and I cannot find words for the joy in finally seeing them bumbling around outside. I hope we have at least a few more nice days for them to enjoy before the weather changes for good. Oh a happy day! 20210820_144956.webp20210820_143156.webp

That's great news. I have to wait at least another year before mine can go on the run on the grass instead of the patio. We have managed to get rid of all the moss this year but the weeds will have to wait until next year (we moved house nearly 2 years ago and the garden had about 3 blades of grass in it!)

It’s always lovely to see piggies out in their runs and enjoying the grass 😀
