We have been to the vets

mostly because blaze had squishy poop this morning.
But his sore leg has not resolved itself....

The poor wee boy has an inflammed hip. So is now on a favourite of guinea pigs meloxidyl (aka meloxicam aka metacam).

He is also getting fibreplex (1mg 2-3 times daily) for his tummy issues to prevent the soft poops that is a side effect and I am also giving him biolapis as well....

I'd avoid the veggies for about 48 hours until his tummy is better. Hope Blaze's hip is better soon

Thanks for the update Helen. Poor little guy, I do hope he is feeling better very soon. The Metacam should ease any pain and inflammation. Let us know how he does over the next few days.
