Just wanted to say hello to everyone!
My name is Nic, I am 32, married with two gorgeous girls aged 11 and 8 and a Border Collie called Buster! Last Monday we got two new girls in addition to our family - Blackberry and Daisy. They are 3 months old. One is all black (blackberry!) and Daisy is grey and white.
The piggies live indoors with us and are such wonderful characters! They have settled in well already. They popcorn like mad and eat non stop! They love their cuddles and my children are so confident when handling them, which is good! Buster is not too sure! He watches them in their cage and has a sniff when we are holding them but they make him cry coz I dont think he quite gets them!
They were really shy at first but we are amazed at how tame they have become in just a week. Blackberry is the leader and never keeps still, whilst Daisy is a lot calmer. Blackberry poo's and wee's all over when they are out of the cage and my little girl Meg follows her around the floor with a tissue cleaning up! Daisy likes to use one corner of the cage and is very particular where she uses the loo! Although she did wee on me last nite!
We had to take them to the vets last week as they have had conjunctivitis and a cold! but the medicine they have been taking has done the trick.
Anyway, thats my introduction. I have enjoyed reading your posts and share your love of piggies - If it weren't for this board I wouldn't have a clue wot popcorning woz or wot the cooing and squeeking noises meant! I will try and upload some pictures soon.

i have only been here a couple of weeks myself but everyone is really friendly & welcoming so i am sure you will enjoy it here. Glad your piggie girls are getting better & have settled in so well. O0
