We Made A Mess For Mummy To Clean Up

Little terror's made a lovely mess for me to wake up to this morning, so proud....NOT!
Really not looking forward to this mornings spot clean so had a giant coffee while the piggies had their veg to psych myself up. Took me half an hour because little piggies wanted to play but I got some cute pics.

This is pretty much the same gift I woke up to on mothers day on Sunday too, Patchy and Coco, the gift that keeps on giving.


Patchy wants pellets...like right now!

Patchy and Coco haz pellets, had to give them something so I could scrape up the rest of their mess uninterrupted.

Today's hay menu is low calcium fescue hay, because we love fescue hay, long strand meadow hay because we don't like soft short cut meadow hay and short cut oat hay because we don't like long cut oat hay

Those adorable faces make it all worth it though! Mine have made me a wonderful mess of timothy to clean up tonight.

Theres actually two huts but you can only see one. Patchy the pellet hungry piggie loves to spy on every one through the windows. They were from a pet store and and the blue kidney shaped bowls are reptile bowls but perfect for pellets and dont knock over. I have two of the blue bowls but they like to share a bowl so only one gets used and they are perfect for sharing. The hay bowl is a cheap casserole dish that is shallow enough for Patchy to eat out of as she is tiny (or was). I'm actually going to try and make a hay bag.

Cage trashing is an art form - looks like you are developing grand masters there!

For some reason they must chuck out all the top layers of hay out of the bowl to get to the bottom layers even if it's the same hay.
