We might be getting a new piggy

So Peanut weighed in about 40 grams less than usual today so I decided to offer her some CC to see if that helps. (She has a check-up scheduled on Friday). She wouldn't eat more than a few bites of CC in the cage so I tried syringing it for her and I could not get it into her mouth fast enough. She inhaled it. I've never seen a piggy take to a syringe that easily or eat CC that quickly before. I have been trying to offer her more veg, pellets, and of course tons of hay, but she did seem too small from the day we got her. So I'll continue to offer CC via syringe (since she appears to prefer it that way) :hmm:at least until we see the vet on Friday for more advice.

Good luck at the vets. That’s brilliant that Peanut has taken to syringe feeding so well.

Forgot to update this thread about Peanut. She got a clean bill of health at the vet. She's a bit under weight, but not a huge concern as she is a smaller piggy to begin with. We will continue to monitor her weight and offer her some CC each day to top her off.
