As you can see my pig's are desperate... we need flaked pea's, and I can't find any ...8...
 
We can get them in 20kg sacks but that's rather a lot for 2 little Guineas.rolleyes If enough people wanted them we could always split them into say 1kg bags

Ooooo I'm thinking my guinea's would be obese with that amount :))... I always give them flaked pea's, as a treat though the bars they love them!

Flaked pea's anyone :))?!
 
I'm in for a kilo or 2! I'm DESPERATE for flaked peas since we ran out and pampered pigs stopped trading :(

I've also seen 20kg bags but that's a bit much for my 10!
 
Lisa I found some on ebay... 10kg bags... I'll half it with you if you want 11.99, £5.99 each includes postage?!

Is that a good price?:{

How much is 10kg?! is it loads?!
 
are they those squashed looking green things in wagg guinea crunch? If so my two upstairs don't like them so i could pick them out ....... :))

Oh my.... your guinea pigs must be confused... We are under the impression, they are the best!
 
O how funny :(|):(|):(|) love the photo however i now feel like a bad mummy as mine have never had flaked peas and they now feel like they are missing out 8... i shall watch with interest as to were flaked peas are sold to try them out. if all else fails i might grab a bag of wagg and pick them out for them to try lol
gosh must get to bed get the time! gawld this site is way to addictive i have been totally absorbed since 8pm i am going to be so tierd tommorrow !
(note to self must set up the internet to auto disconnect at midnight at the latest to curb my new obsession with the guinea pig forum!) Night night!

Do you think the seller would split them and send them to 2 addresses?

I never knew the green things were squashed peas. Now I finally know what my pigs love so much and I can totally appreciate the photo. :)) I normally pick them out of the Gerty mix and hand feed them, they're like delicious sweets to them!
 
I have two that love them and one that loathes them and i still have about 250g of pampered piggies flaked peas left! he he:p
 
The Flaked Pea Ration has ended... I endulged the pigs in some flaked Pea's.. this evening.

Pebbles was so excited she got confused between the bars and food! :)).

Please mind the ramp it is normally covered, but they pull there fleece off it as per...mallethead

I ordered from Trish, she has now added Flaked pea's into her shop and she made me a nice bag of mixed herbs which I mix though the piggies hay so they can forage it is the closest thing I can get too pampered Piggies You can buy Flaked Pea's by the kg for £2.50... postage is about £3. I know it's a bit expense but isn't bad. I can't have 20kg of flaked pea's so this is the next best thing :).

Also her shop sells loads... check it out :).

Amazing, thank heavens the pea drought is over! That was a very quiet room for a minute, even Fred was lost for words!:))

I know the pigs were getting extremely worried, I was thinking I would have to win them round with extra veg, not like they don't get enough as it is rolleyes!

Okay well thanks alot for the link (I think!) I ended up buying Oxbow Botanical hay too to justify the postage (which was the same). Hubby will not be impressed with me as I promised no more hay for a couple of months. OOPS! rolleyes

And no it doesn't the postage is £3.95 hence me buying more stuff to justify it.

I said we could only get it in 20kg bags but if enough wanted it we could split it into 1kg bags for them. If you had only wanted a 1kg bag you would only have paid Royal Mail postage rates rather than the £4.50 flat fee
 
You said you would only buy them if more people wanted them?! Hence why I looked elsewere... ohwell live and learn, I'm fully stocked up now!
 
i didn't even know you could buy those separately. My guys always loved those, they haven't had any for ages since i switched over to pellets.
