Fudge died back in February with organ failure, we dont know why it happened but he deteriorated very quickly, he was 3 1/2 years old.

I kept his ashes so that we could scatter them on the foundations of the guinea pig shed that i am having build for my outdoor herd. It means that i can keep them warm in the winter and also their floor size will treble in space aswell as having an outdoor run that is shaded beautifully by a tree.

Today was the day for scattering Fudge's ashes.

Two of my other pigs are buried in the same area. Jacob my beautiful boy who died 2 years ago following a post op infection and Cherry one of my elderly rescue pigs who happily spent the rest of her live with my herd. They can now all rest in peace together xx

It seems so fitting now that my herd are going to live in this very meaningful area and i needed your help because i need to think of a name for my shed. I was going to call in Fudge's Freedom but seeing as Jacob and Cherry are also buried there i thought it would be nice to think of a name that meant something for all of them. Can you give me suggestions of what you think and then i will have a plaque made to hang on the shed.

Angel Piggy Palace? Starlet Villa? JFC Hut?

PS: What a lovely gesture - my piggies are all buried around the garden wherever there was a suitable spot.

thanks Wiebke JFC hut made me giggle cause it sounds like a fast food restaurant xx I did like the other 2 names though, keep going with the suggestions x

The three initials of your angel piggies sounded nealry like a fast food chain, so the "Hut" bit came by itself - I thought it was fitting considering the usual piggy enthusiasm!

yep that is very fitting, it is such a funny name xx thanks Wiebke you have a better imagination then me xx

Oh Jo :0 that was lovely and it's got me all teared up........what a wonderful idea!

I love what Wiebke has suggested :)

erm i suppose you could consider........ Precious Piggy Palace ?
then it will hold meaning for both past and present piggies x)

i was talking to Carma last night on the chat room and she suggested Piggy Paradise, i really like that name, what do you lot think?

Piggy paradise is lovely. Piggie pastures or piggie sanctuary are nice as well...
