Doeylicious
Adult Guinea Pig
Well following on from my previous thread here
http://www.theguineapigforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=71629
AATA has been giving me brilliant regular updates on Snicks and her progress.
I got a text while I was out riding yesterday asking me to give her a call, which started with her saying 'I have some good news and some bad news'
I started imagining vet bills of hundreds as Snickers had bitten all her herd mallethead
But no...
The good news was, Snickers was in with the herd and all was well
The bad news was...I was having to take at least one new piggy home
so not bad news at all really, hehe!
In true Snicks style, she walked into the herd, straight up to the current boss, said 'oi I'm here now!' and after some swearing completely usurped poor Flower and took over the herd!
AATA has been keeping an eye on them and it is clear she is already favouring some pigs more than others...which brings me to explaining the thread title...
Originally we hoped she would bond with Nancy, who she is getting on well with after initially making sure Nancy knew she was boss, seen here
However she has also taken rather a shine to Leti...
Now I am rather a fan of pink eyeds...so after some more chatting and me making puppy dog eyes at the OH, we are now hoping to take home
Snickers (obviously)
Nancy
Leti
and...
Dib Dab, who is due to be neutered soon, to complete the mini herd (AATA and I are in agreement that we are not keen on trios and Snicks would be better in a herd as she can't boss all three about at once, so what choice did I have!)
I am sooooo excited, not only do we get another rex but I get my first ever lilac mix pigs, and what girl could say not to a pink and purple guinea pig?!
We still have to make sure Snicks and the other girls accept Dib Dab when he is done but hopefully this will go well, if not we will see who else comes along.
THANK YOU SO MUCH CLAIRE! And also again to Amanda and Jenny for taking Snicks up for me, I am so incredibly grateful to you all x>>
