I've noticed my pippin tiddles more then the other two, at lap time he always tiddles every time, we normally say...oh pee pee pippin :) I've felt his tummy very carefully many times since I first noticed this and he really does not mind me touching his tummy.
He's not going all the time and his hutch is not soaking wet each morning when I clean them out so I think he's ok. He eats loads and I see him drink, he's normally the one with the good steady weight gain when the vet weighs him each week, I have asked my vet if I should be worried but although she's lovely she does not seem to like me asking questions which are not related to that appointment :( but I'm sure she would of suggested tests had she been concerned, all three were given a fully health check 5weeks ago.
Well, (sorry for rambling on) the point is this morning when I went to take pippin out of the 'cleaning out box' I noticed he had just started to do a wee so I waited for him to finish...at first it the wee was clear then it became milky/cloudy just before he finished. Sorry maybe to much info :( does anyone know if this is normal? I have never seen the other two tiddle so I'm a bit unsure if this is normal or not.
Many thanks kell x

Guinea pig urine is a cloudy/milky colour normally. Just watch out for signs of grit or it being really thick as that can indicate stones or an infection. Also watch out for blood (but you will know this!) The milky colour is excess calcium being excreted.

I have one pig that drinks once a day and one that drinks throughout the day so their drinking and urine output can vary a lot!

Oh thank you very much theoretikos for that message you really put my mind at rest. Few :) is not thick thankfully and no blood at all. Like most of us on here I give them a quick check over daily eg during lap time then each Friday I give them a good check over eg teeth, nails etc.
Thanks again :)
