Does anyone know what plant these yellow flowers are from in our grass and if they are ok for piggies? Many thanks for your help.

I think there are some plant experts on here. Can’t see the petals clearly - it looks like it could be Celandine but I’m not one of those experts 😬

Here's a better photo I think

It looks like it could be some sort of clover plant? I really don't know.
Just FYI, guinea pigs can eat clover but not too much as it is high in calcium and protein.
Hopefully someone can confirm what sort of plant this is.

Thanks - I haven't seen it before but there seems to be lots this year. Luckily we are getting garden re-turfed soon but I don't want to put them out if its something they shouldn't eat.

It looks like it’s lesser trefoil, a member of the clover family.

Celandine flowers tend to be more open and the leaves look different - they cannot eat celandine or any buttercup

I am pretty sure it's black meddick (named black for the colour of the seeds), definitely in the clover family as others have said. There is lots on our lawn. Not poisonous to piggies, but I'm pretty sure ours just ignored it in favour of the grass anyway!

Not a very clear picture, looks like creeping buttercup, if so it's not for piggies.
