I currently have 6 piggies 1 sow, 3 boars and sow/boar babies who are 2 weeks old.

My neutered boar will go back with my sow when the baby boy is ready to leave in about a weeks time.

I lost a piggy on Thursday and now one of my boars is lonely and looking very sad, so i thought before i do anything id start to introduce Junior to the baby boar Andre. I haven't had much luck with my boars so far rolleyes but Junior didnt seem to notice Andre at first and then they started sniffing each others bum and then the baby tried to ? mount Junior he was trying to climb on top of him so I'm guessing that was his plan. And then Junior cocked his leg and wee'd on the baby's back then head :{

Is this normal? I would like to bond them with one another ideally but need as much advice as possible because my last attempt at bonding ended up with a blood stained cage :(

I would say this is perfectly normal, sows sometimes urinate in the face of a boar when his advances are unwanted. It sounds like Junior is telling little Andre he doesn't appreciate being humped & he's getting the message across:)) :))

I too have never had any luck bonding but my one true success story was a bolshy 18month old boar with a 3wk old baby - it was love at first sight & has stayed that way. Good Luck with them :)

Yes my baby pig was a piddler if the older one got too frisky but its stopped now!(as has the attempted humping) I think it was an "oi get off me" type of reaction

We still get rumbling but it doesnt go any further. they have been together nearly a month.
