Weekly weight check

Does anyone have any tips on keeping their pigs still on the scale? I can never get an accurate weight because they move around in the bowl.

I simply use bribery! A coriander stem keeps them still long enough to get a reading!

Have you tried putting them in a hidey to weigh them, then subtract the weight of the hidey from the total shown on the scales?

I decided to try the bribery route first so gave Stripe a tiny piece of cookie and while he was chewing I was able to get a weight!

By the way he's up to 996 that's 40 grams gained since he's been off the critical care! He's been off three weeks.
