I haven't tried looking in his eye.Ill get him out and have a look soon.Sorry to hear about Tilly xxI found your thread after your reply to mine!
Hettie only gets the cleaning fluid along the bottom of her eye, inside not out. Have you tried looking in the eye at all? as it isn't completely open, I would get a vet appointment.
He looks so much like my Tilly who I sadly lost in October!
Hope he gets better very soon x
Thanks, I've got him booked in with my local vets for later as I rang vets 4 pets and they haven't opened the practice yet in my PAH shop so hopefully they'll prescribe eye drops.@Gem789 Eyes can be very delicate, and aren't something we can self treat. I'd recommend that you take him to the vet. They can use a dye on his eye to check for damage. They also have the equipment to remove anything that's in his eye.
Ah ok I don't know much about them as I've never been to a vets 4 pets before.I'm registered at the cat and rabbit clinic but as I don't drive, I only go there when it's something serious or something my local vets wouldn't be able to diagnose as I have to get a friend to take me.Excellent! Vets4pets don't tend to be the best vets in most cases so hopefully the other vets will be the better choice.
