I have separated my two pigs for feeding veggies, as one was noticeable heavier.

However, as soon as I did this, Pearl (the heavier one) started gaining weight. She is now 1222g! Zip is just 965g.

Are you 100% sure they are the same sex?
Has the weight gain happened suddenly?

Haha Zip is a fast eater @Pearl and Zip. They sound like my Jon Snow and Podrick.

Jon inhales food like it's the last scrap on Earth whereas Podrick is a slow grazer. He'll have a piece and then go back into the hay

Jon is 890g and Podrick is 1345g. I dread to think how fat he would be if he ate more.

It's definitely worth splitting them if you worry about sharing food. One of my fosters is a lethal and he was 800g. I get him out every evening so he has dinner away from his cagemate and now almost a year later he's 1000g.
