I'm worried. Rodney lost 100g during his abscess.

He is eating fine albeit a little selective with veg, I've just weighed him and he's lost another 50g in the last 5 days.

He's excited about food, and is eating veg pellets & hay - I really thought he would have piled some back on.

I knew this wouldn't be over..... ;(

How old is Rodney? I found with older pigs who have an illness of some sort that if they lose weight, they struggle to put it back on again. Have you got him on a probiotic to optimise his digestive function?

Best wishes, shiny :)

He is only 2. I did have him on fibreplex but his poo is fine so I have stopped... I can start back up?

I'm really worried about it he's always been a real porker I mean he looks fine & still weighs 1.27K I think it was, but for him that's light! Mayb I will feed him separately this morning to make sure he gets enough...

I've put him in the travel case to eat veg just to make sure he gets enough... He's tucking in as normal I just don't get it. I'll keep an eye on it but it's worrying me he's lost even more...

Someone clever has gained 54g in the last 3 days ;)

Proud piggy mummy ;)
