Hi
I don't regularly weigh my pigs, which I am going to start doing, and in December when I weighed Autumn she was 810 g. Now she has dropped to 734 g. Is this OK? She is around 1 year old. My other 4 piggies weight has increased and her sister, has increased from 871 g to 1015 g.
Thank you

That is a very low weight for a near adult. I would strongly recommend to have her checked by a vet (especially the crucial back teeth) to see whether there could be a medical problem.

Please weigh her regularly, at least once a week. See whether she is putting on weight if she is fed separately and whether there could be any hidden bullying issues.

I'm going to hopefully take her tomorrow to the vets. Defiantly going to keep an eye on her weight, thank you

We managed to get her to the vets yesterday. He didn't seem overly concerned and couldn't see anything hugely wrong with her. She doesn't have a temp. and her teeth are only a tiny bit overgrown. We have been given pro biotic to put in her food, but so far she hasn't really touched it. If by the end of the week she doesnt improve we have to take her back but he isn't keen to do anything with her teeth due to the anaesthetic.
