Welcome to the forum.
A lot will depend on your piggy’s age and breed.
I have 3 adult sows - 2 of them are in the 1100 - 1200g range. The 3rd is usually around 1300g but for her that is normal.
My 5 month old boar is an Abyssinian and looks chubby but is a tiny 800g at the moment
A fluffy piggy often looks bigger, a piggy scrunched up loos chubbier than one stretched out.
In the Daily Care forum thread you will find a post about weight management. You will find that helpful.
Guinea pigs come in very different sizes and weights. Please read the green link below.
It tells you how you not only check the weight for weekly health monitoring and when you need to take a closer look/see a vet but also how you check around the ribcage whether your piggy is a good weight for its size, at whatever age and body size. This method works for all ages and body sizes. Weight changes are important for spotting illness; feeling for the heft is vital for spotting whether your piggy has a good size/weight ratio.
The guide also contains tip on how to best deal with overweight if your new piggy turns out to be too chubby.
Here is the link with all the practical tips and explanations: Weight - Monitoring and Management
As an example that absolute weight is not the full answer here are my Pioden and his wife Helygen. They are both a perfect weight for their body size - Pioden is 1400g, very large but not at all overweight while Helygen is a very dainty girl of just over 700g but not underweight for her small size.
