Here are my two newly adopted guinea pigs. Pete and Paulie.

Does Pete look a little over weight. They are 2 year old twins.

They look like a perfectly healthy size :) Unfortunatly the weight (and shape) of a healthy piggy can vary greatly while still being normal for that piggy :)

You'll find some piggies are just a little chubbier than others but that doesn't mean they are unhealthy !
My little chester looks similar he carries a bit more weight than the others, but it makes him more adorable !

Oh thats good! I sort of didnt think he would be because their previous owners really looked after them but I just wanted to check to be on the safe side. lol x

If your worried you can do what i did and just keep an eye on how much they eat, i've started giving them the right amount of pellet food, and reducing treats and just keeping there portions right !

You may find this thread helpful if you are worried about overweight and how to regulate it. Reducing pellets and keeping veg portions to 1 cupful per piggy per day should help you to regulate the weight. Let the boys eat unlimited hay (it should make up to 80% of the daily diet anyway!)

Oh they're gorgeous! x)x)x) Pete just looks a bit chunky to me (in an adorable way) but it's definitely worth reading the information just to make sure they don't get overfed :))

Thank you :) they are both soooo sweet. Cant tell you how clad i am that i adopted them x
