Hi,
We finally weighed our new girls this evening, after having them for just over a week. Rayla is around 979g. and Piglet is around 730g. The rescue center vet guessed their age at eight months old, and likely sisters.
I've noticed that the heavier one appears slightly larger, with larger eyes and longer body, and wondered if she may be older. Is this likely, or is it possible two girls from the same litter could be quite different weights?
Thanks, Hannah

Piggies come in all shapes and sizes so you can’t give a ‘weight’ range for age. If their heft feels okay and they put on a little weight each week then they’re probably okay.

Excellent, thank you. I've just read a link about weight info shared on another thread which has been very helpful too. It says how sibling weights can vary widely, and increase with age too. So I guess they likely are sisters :-)
