Does anyone know what how much weight roughly piggies should put on each week, although mine *touch wood* have never lost weight the weight they are putting on is gradually getting less and less each week Ive weighed them today and @ 14 weeks

Peter - 468g (+ 22g) - boar

Harvey - 439g (+ 23g) - boar

Jordan - 439g (+ 7g) - sow

Is this ok? They have a bowl of food per day(2 handfulls), a small bowl of fresh veg, hay (2 handfulls every 2 days), corn on the cob (every 2-3 days). They eat plenty of grass when outside and have the odd treat which there not too fussed about.

The only thing ive done different this week is put less vitimin c drops in their water as their now eating dry food and plenty of it but i have got them a bigger run 6ft x 2ft could the extra exercise have caused a lower weight gain?

Mine average 50g a week each - every day they have a bowl of dry food between them (about 40g), a bowl of fresh veggies, a couple of handfulls of herbs and of course as much hay as they can eat.

They do eat a lot but they're also on the go most of the day.

Mine gradually gained a little bit of weight each week and then it started to even out - they've stayed the same now for about 6 months.
Yours will still be growing up in size too as well as in weight.

i think I'm just a bit too paranoid with their weights ive upped their food this week so will see what their weight gain is like this week today they have had 1 bowl of dry food, 1 carrot, 1 celery stick, 3 cherry tomatoes, 2 handfulls of hay, handful of spinich, corn on the cob and 5 hours muching grass.

try not to give them too much spinach as high in calcium and can give them bladder stones.
