I know my first step is to contact a vet, but she is closed this week for Easter break.
There are other vets in my town but I am unsure if they will take guinea pigs. I will have to call.
Basically, my issue is that this morning for possibly 4 minutes, Igby's breathing sounded funny.
It sounded as if she had clogged nose. Now, it has completely stopped. Is this something to worry about?
Could it possibly be the way she was laying? Should I wait until it happens again?

Hi!

Guinea pigs have very narrow and small airways. They are also not able to breathe through their mouths. This means that you can hear every little obstruction somewhere from the nose to the lungs. This makes even the slightest blockage very audible, much more than it would in a human. If it is just a short one-off, then there is nothing to worry about.

Contact a vet if you hear any crackly or raspy breathing, iif the breathing is laboured (sides heaving), if there is persistent sneezing every few minutes for hours on end, if there are thick yellow/green gunk/crusts around the eyes or nose or there is loss of appetite and lethargy.

They do pick their times do our piggies.
Just keep an ear open for further noise.
Hopefully it was just a one off
