So when I picked up my guinea pig, Sabrina, I noticed that she had a weird lump (sort of between her nipples) when I pushed on it, it moved. It was about the size of a penny and very firm. My first instinct was to squeeze it a little to see if it hurt (it didn’t) or was something that would just pop and go away. I felt the lump pop but when I looked nothing had come out. I can still sort of feel something under the skin but it’s much smaller. Have I hurt my guinea pig by doing this? I’m very concerned.

Guinea pigs have belly buttons, so it is possible that that is what you have felt.
If you’re concerned it might be something else then do see a vet.
