Hi hi :)

So I was sitting with my pig, Kino, in my lap and it’s one of the few times where she lets me pet her. I was giving her a back scratch when I got to her lower back/upper bum area, and she reacted… interestingly lmao? She started shaking her head and then grooming/nibbling the blanket she was laying on? I’m not sure.

It reminded me of those cat videos where people scratch the base of their tail and the cat starts aggressively licking the air lmao.

I’m just wondering, what does it mean? I don’t want to accidentally overstimulate/inappropriately stimulate her if that’s what’s happening.

Thanks! <3

My piggy Patrick has been doing this lately I suspect he has mites again. He’s off to the vets tomorrow for a check up. If this is a new behaviour then I’d get them checked out. Good luck.

Just letting you know Patrick does have lice. So maybe being itchy and uncomfortable may be making your piggy react this way.
