Weird Sneeze

hey,

I’ve had my 2 guinea pigs, Lucy and Lola, for about a month now. For some reason, Lucy is sneezing a lot. I’m not sure if it’s something to do with the bedding, but now the sneezing, or what I think is sneezing, is weird.

It’s kind of like a sneeze mixed with a click - it’s very hard to describe. Although she was only doing about once or twice a day, as I’m writing this now, they are sitting eating their veggies and Lucy has made that noise about 3 times within a few minutes. Please give me some advice! If needed, I’ll take her to the vets.

I know what you mean. Does it kind of sound like a stuffy nose? One of my piggies had a URI when this happened. My other piggie was just having a reaction to hay, bedding, a Christmas tree, and scent defusers. Just go to the vet as soon as possible and make sure they check your pigs lungs very thoroughly. Hope he feels better

Np just want to make sure no one waits the way I did (I thought it was just a sneeze and waited a week) and he sadly passed away. We got him very sick and we were just glad to give him a good last week. Just make sure the vet seems to know what they are talking about. Mine kept rambling on

If there are any concerns then please visit a vet. However some greedy piggies eat too quick and they have a reflex which to me sounds more like a cough than a sneeze. My daisy does it all the time she's so blinking greedy
