Since our sweet Al passed, we adopted a little sow. She so sweet, we named her Lavinia (pronounced Luh-Vin-ee-uh). She’s got her first vet appointment tomorrow and we will talk about getting her fixed so we don’t inadvertently create a Guinea pig farm 😂. She’s quarantined next to Cooper’s enclosure. They’ve met and seem to get along. She’s coming out of her shell, she eats in front of him, he’s sniffed her bum, and they’ve both washed themselves in front of each other. I think, but will confirm it tomorrow, that she’s about 4-6 weeks. She’s too cute with her little rosettes.

She’s gorgeous. I’m not sure of vets in the USA but over here sows are not neutered to live with boars. It’s only the other way round. Boys are neutered. How old is Cooper?
