Welcome To My Two New Teas Foster Girls!

On Friday, I went to Northampton to pick up two of Linda Hulks' girls from Debbie. Linda, who was a trustee of The Excellent Adventure Sanctuary and a friend of mine, has sadly passed away a few weeks ago. As Debbie has taken in seven of the Rainbow Ark piggies (from the current big rescue action) as well as a new dental piggy over the weekend, she was in need of as much space as possible.

Hopefully, gorgeous and much loved Krystal and her mum Jessica will stay here for the rest of their lives as permanent fosters for TEAS.

They were originally adopted from Glynneath GP Rescue. Suzy has been informed and has given her OK.

They currently live in the Teddy enclosure between the Tribe and the much shrunk Troop while they settle in. I hope that they'll bond in with one of the groups eventually.

I don't know why but I had tears in my eyes when I saw the pics of these lovely girls. It's just nice to see something nice happening to piggies & not the terrible happenings of last week's big rescue or the constant loved ones passing over the Bridge. There seems to have been far too many going that way lately, I know myself losing Mousey 4 weeks ago after nursing her after an abscess removal op. Perhaps I'm turning into a big softy or is that what naturally occurs when you become a piggy slave?
