Well, Christmas Wouldn't Be Christmas Without A Vet Trip Would It !

Poor Reuben has started hooting - not all the time - just occasionally .

Fortunately , my "special" vet has an appointment slot today so I can get him checked out .
 
I hope he gets on ok. I am a nervous wreck this time of year. I hate that the vets are shut for 3 days, I know there are emergency ones but ours is not easy to get to anymore as they moved it to one in the middle of nowhere.
 
Easter and Christmas are the worst worry times for us piggy slaves with the long holiday closures. Lucky thst Reuben will get to see your special vet. Hoping you get on Ok. You are so vigilant you will no doubt have caught anything in good time x
 
Quick update : well. I did say the hooting was intermittent. So... Of course, he wasn't making any noise when his appointment came up. The vet's prescribed some antibiotics should I need to start treatment over Xmas.

He was due an IC check up and I'm pleased to say his urine was clear - no blood at all :yahoo: Best Christmas present ever :tu:
