sooo. going to dump all the pigs in the carrier for the trip to the vet with blaze.

* Cinder is still coughing from the bordetella flare up, despite a week on baytril
*Blaze has mites
*Spark is clicky breathing although when i listen to chest i can only hear either clicky breathing or his heart
*Flame is still ok but for how long

Somehow have to take 3 pigs from 2 pairs to the vet... ARGH

Spark is OK... this piggymam is just neurotic/paranoid!

I disagree. NOT paranoid or neurotic, just a good and caring piggymum. Far better to see the vet and find it's nothing, than to leave it and hope, then find it's bad news.
That's my opinion, anyway!

Note to self when you hold piggy to your ear to hear it's breathing the heart can make it sound clicky.
Put Mr Spark back in with Flameboyant and he is absolutely fine so no trying to heap everyone together to go to the vets.
Blaze does have mites, Treated and also treated Cinder, and I was the second case of mites he saw to day (and mine were in a much better condition!)
Anyway, fortnights time may be telling the vet my info source (here!)

So glad that Spark is ok,his brothers and sisters are doing well. still have 2 baby boars looking for really good homes ,otherwise they will stay here.

Todays Vet List

Blaze's weight fluctuations... How low can his weight go without it becoming dangerous. So take record book.
Cinder's chest coughing occasionally again.
2nd dose of xeno 450.

I totally synpathise and empathise. It seems to be one thing after the other with my Bertie. Hopefully I can get him back now and keep him to myself (and OH) without a trip to the vet's for a while...
