already theres been over thirty views in an hour and two piggys reserved pending home checks.
I'm happy sad anxious excited and scared all at the same time.
people don't seem put of by the €5 donation per piggy either, am thinking next time round i'll put that up a bit :) every little helps eh?
its going to be sad seeing them go but we need the room to help others. *sigh*
how do people do this on a bigger scale? we are only a 'smalltime' rescue but my gosh its hard work!

That's fantastic so many people have been round already, you must have a reputation for having super cute piglets :(|)

I would double the price - or ask for support/donations to the rescue.

Best of luck - the first times are always some of the most memorable. Hopefully, all of your charges can and will find a good home soon!

You are always allowed to vent some steam and get some sympathy on here if you come across some awful people with strange ideas...

sorry i meant thirty views on the site not at my house ;)
i go tomorrow to check the home for the first two piggys (big blue and his little peruvian friend, the house is only 5 mins away from me!) then if all is well they are coming here saturday with their kids to meet the piggies in the flesh, and we'll take it from there.
lets hope it goes better than the chinchilla rehoming mess up!

Ooh, sounds like all is going well so far. I hope the home check goes well and your first piggies go to their forever home with no troubles

Good luck! xx>>>

I suggest a donation of £15 per piggie, sometimes I get less and sometimes more.
Do you have a contract the new owner signs to say how they will look after the piggie and what happens in the event they cant look after the piggie etc.
If you need some forms to look at I am happy to send my ones!

The more you rehome to good homes the more you can help, that is what keeps me going.

I am a small rescue too and have only recently started too. I would ask for a bigger donation, I ask for a minimum of £10 per piggy. Good luck xx
