Hello,

Well I talked with my mother last night. She said that I can't have any piggies right now but she will re-evaluate(Meaning, she'll see where we are, if I have a job to pay, etc) in two years. She said I can research(Meaning, I can get as MANY books as I like) but it comes after school & chores.

I don't know how books differ from the UK and the US(Meaning, most will come off Amazon) but any reccomended books?

I found the RSPCA Guinea Pig Care Guide good...

You could try the US amazon version? :) Hope this helps :)

Errm guinea pig lopaedia is good and detailed if you have the time to read it, talks about nearly everything. Or if you want a basic book 'Golden tips for keeping your first guinea pig' is quite good, not too vague but simple enough to read quickly. If you're interested in looking at breeds in more detail you can get mini encyclopaedias. Or another simple (but really well illustrated) book is the 'Really useful guinea pig guide' by Myra Mahoney. I enjoyed the pictures and the info is nice and basic. I've read all of these :)) work in a pet shop so read them on my lunch!
