Went out and got NEW cages

I went and got new cages for the piggies. The girls cage is the HUGE on on the stand and then i am adopting this male piggy i REALLY like that needs a home ASAP, The owner doesn't want him anymore cause she has "too many" so i am going to get him, i went ahead and got him a cage too. its the came as the girls but a little smaller. His cage looks empty now cause i havnt finished buying the toys and things to go in it. Ill show you a pic of it when its done xx>>>

The house in the girls cage was a wooden treasure chest from Michaels craft store. It pried the from board off and WALAH! a piggy house! The top has henges too since it was supposed to be a treadure chest box thing so instead of moving the whole house i lift the lid xx>>> I LOVE IT! And the boys i got in IL at a place called Teskie. I dont like Igloos...

I LOVE you treasure chest house!

Best luck with your new boy. If you are not absolutely sure about his state of health, it might be wiser to have him in another room for two or three weeks, so he can't give your girls any unwelcome presents like mites or ringworm.

Are you planning to have him nuetered, so he can join your girls?
 
probably, i am not sure yet cause the lady i am getting him from said he HATES other piggies and fights with males and females so i might just keep him alone. But ill play with him alot. Is it weird he doesnt like other piggies? arnt guinea pigs supposed to be social?
 
Sadly, not all of them. A few will attack other piggies of any gender.

The best way to keep them is next to other piggies, so they can still interact, just not fight/hump to death.
 
Wow you have the cage set up really well!

What type of cage is that..do you mind me asking where you bought it from?
 
I ordered it off line they are called marchioro cages. They are SUPER nice and VERY roomy. Kinda expensive cages too. I LOVE them though!
