We're a bit concerned

Hello everyone, it’s Biscuit here.

Me and my friend Toffee are a bit worried because our Human informed us today that we’re going to be sent away for a week (or more) while she has some ‘electrical work’ done. We don’t really understand what this means but apparently it’s going to be very noisy and dusty and the Human says we’ll be better off out of the way.

She will be taking us to the place we stayed in when she deserted us had a well-deserved break a couple of months ago. It was very nice there and we were well looked after but we’d rather stay at home. The Human seems to be very stressed about this ‘electrical work’ so wouldn’t it be better if we stayed with her to cheer her up?

I’m quite a laid-back piggy (I even let her pick me up these days – with a few protest squeaks of course) so I could sit on her lap and lick her fingers (she seems to like me doing that) And Toffee who ABSOLOUTELY REFUSES to do lap time says he would be willing to throw lots of poops into the space between the cage and the wall so she can have a lot of fun collecting them up.

Unfortunately the Human has made up her mind. We just hope the electrical work is finished on time so we can come home.
And the Human says so does she

Forget about cheering your human up. Us piggies of Pigglington Court moved out into the land of the shed while our humans had a new roof put on the house. It was still noisy at the shed, if we were you we would take the chance to get away for a nice quiet holiday.

Dear Biscuit and Toffee

"Electrical work" sounds a bit alarming especially with the lots of dust and noise your human has associated with it. When my human goes on holiday we go on holiday too. We go to Aunty Lilli's. It's lovely there. We have other piggies to talk to. Some are boars (although my Mum Misty tells me off for flirting!). We also get spoilt rotten. Take the chance of a quiet holiday while you can!

Thank you for your replies. We've had a little discussion and we think you're probably right - another little holiday will actually be quite nice.
We do feel a bit sorry for the Human though, having to put up with all the noise and mess.

Dear Biscuit and Toffee,
I was very pleased to read you have chosen to have a holiday while the electrical work(whatever that is!) is happening.
I remember last year the hoomans having a new roof, and the noise here was tooo much. We had a mini holiday, but it wasn’t long enough, for some reason the workmen didn't work fast enough, slave said it was something to do with rain.

We're sorry you had to put up with all that noise from the new roof - that must have been horrible.
We think our human is worried that something similar might happen here and the noise and mess will go on longer than it should .
But anyway it will be nice for us to miss most of it.
