Haha they tend to prefer it when I scatterfeed, and actually it's the best way to get both of them to eat it. Blitzen will only get himself food if he can't nick it from Comet, and Comet gets cranky when his food gets stolen so eventually they end up at opposite ends. Plus they're untidy sods and would have it dragged all over the place anyway!

However, as of 10 minutes ago, all is apparently forgiven. They're playing Zoomie Tag. I think I need to find somewhere else to sleep...


(oh, and Comet really doesn't like mint. But that doesn't mean Blitzen can eat all of it, of course not.)
 
OMG this thread totally made my day. You make them sound like such hilarious little characters lol and they are so damn cute.

They really are, and most of it I'm not exaggerating either. It's the one thing they can't share is veg time. Either they try to take it from each other, or they get it and repeatedly "protect" it from the other one.

They're not food aggressive at all, but sharing food is not a concept they understand. I mean they've finally stopped sharing carrot cottages too, but I think that's because they've grown too big. Greedy sods. :))
 
We're going to the next level here folks! Comet's protecting his sugarsnaps from that pesky meddler Blitzen!

(actually I think he just fell asleep like this, he has a habit of doing that. It just amuses me because he hates sugarsnaps)
