If a guinea-pigs bum is wet, most of the time, does it mean that it has a disease or is it just weeing all the time- what if it is always wet and has crusty, yellowy-brown stuff on her bum too?
We have wood-shavings as a floor and then hay as bedding- they had that when they were at the farm that we got them from and they were o.k then... I've checked the others bottoms and their's seems fine, though i'll keep an eye on it... :{
one of my girls had a wet bottom when she had a calcium stone in her urethra, this was stopping the normal flow of urine passing as it should, this in turn gave her an infection as she wasn't able to pass her water as normal. She had very smelly urine, slight blood in her water too. I am not saying that this is what your guinea has, but just keep a close eye on things and if it continues get your guinea checked by a cavie savy vet.
