Hi All,

As I've mentioned a few days ago I was concerned about Flora and Fleur being very skittish and they were not eating as they should. This was since I moved them to another hutch in a different more sheltered part of the garden. Well today they are still hiding under the hay but they both came out for a nose when I was giving them their veggies this morning and yesterday they even let me stroke them in the hutch so some improvement has happened! :)

My neighbours must think I'm mad I talk to them like they are babies, but I think it works as Flora was looking at me and seemed a lot calmer. I think it was just settling in again to the new surroundings, they don't seem to like change but slowly I am gaining their trust.

I even thought about putting them in the shed and putting the boys back in the hutch but the boys love it in the shed and it wouldn't be fair on them.

They are now eating better, this morning all veggies has gone, they are still select feeding although I'm changing over to pellets slowly. Now all I've got to do is get a friend for Cuzzy and we are sorted, although if that doesn't work I will get him neutered (its a last resort) and he can go in with the girls! :)

Will take some pics later on, it's been a month since I shot some nice ones of them so will post when I'm done! :)

Hope everyone is enjoying their Saturday!

Awww bless them glad there calmer and are not too afraid of anything O0

Yeah I have to put pics of the C&C on, really its only a sqaure box 6x4 but will post them up once Peter decides he can be bothered to take the pics! :D Men eh!

Just fed the boys and give them loads of hay, Sunshine went mental popcorning as I poured it all over him, he loves that!

Was just doing some dishes and could see the girls from the window, Flora came out and had some hay. I'm beeming, I know it's nothing major but she has been so shy and now she is getting more confident and coming out in the daytime, usually she waits until night time when we cover them up. Fleur comes out a lot now but doesn't approach the front of the hutch, it will happen but I'm pleased we have made progress.

I haven't been bringing them in as much, I know it does help with bonding but I have felt this has been freaking them out a bit, they need to get used to their new home. I feel in this case it was the right thing to do. :)
