Ryuu is steadily getting heavier, but I'm still concerned about his weight. I can no longer feel his ribs (which I could, when I first found him) but he's only gained 40 g in a week. Is this normal?

I feel a bit bad I hadn't weighed him when I found him but it seriously didn't cross my mind at the time. I've been monitoring his weight daily for a week now.

He looks like a wee baby



He's a clever and super cuddly piggy, I'm feeling blessed that he was my first one, if it weren't for him, William wouldn't be with us right now.

I'm not an expert but I think weekly weight gain in babies varies from week to week it certainly did in mine. If he's not showing any sign of illness try not to worry too much, I think 40g in a week is fine. If you feel anxious that something is wrong a vet visit would be a good idea. There is a sticky thread on the forum somewhere about weights and weight gain I was going to tag it for you but I can't find it at the moment and I have to go out in a minute.
If are anxious pop a question in the health section of the forum, an expert will normally pick it up quickly as that thread is monitored closely.

I don't know his exact age, since I found him abandoned, but according to my calculations and the vet's too, he's around 3 months old.
She told me he's doing OK, he's healthy and all. But I still worry. Don't want anything to happen to any of my boys I love them to bits.
